    Applies basic principles of Accounting and Finance to analyze financial information and assist Group Leader of Finance.
    
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Works with close supervision on routine tasks. Detailed instructions are provided, and close peer review is required.
    • Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
    • Work consists of tasks that are routine. Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
    • Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities. Qualifications and Education Requirements
      
      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
      • Student from local university or college wishing to gain technical knowledge and experience in a working environment.
      • A basic understanding of accounting processes, general accounting principles and MS Office Suite including MS Visio.
      • Flexible work schedule
      • Good communication skills
      • Detail oriented
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
      • Finance/Accounting students at the junior, senior or graduate level are preferred. Security Responsibilities
        
        Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials, in any form, produced by the incumbent. Shall be assigned specific responsibility for Information Security by immediate supervisor or department management. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. Incumbent shall execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.
        
        Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
        
        Work Environment
        
        This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
