As a member of the Retail and Consumer Products (RCP) industry sector marketing team, you will contribute to the growth and development of the sector by differentiating the Deloitte brand for our RCP clients. The team has responsibilities across all four of our business areas and interfaces with client service, marketing, and communications professionals to deliver impact for the business. Work you'll do

You will contribute to the growth of the Retail and Consumer Products sector supporting strategic marketing campaigns. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support integrated strategic marketing and communications activities that utilize the full spectrum of traditional and innovative marketing channels
  • Engage our in-house agency on the successful execution of campaigns and activations, collaborate on strategy and best practices, and oversee the on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns
  • Advise and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Deloitte leaders and client service professionals, to achieve marketing campaign goals
  • Collaborate with the Deloitte Consumer Industry Center to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for internal and external distribution of key of research and insights
  • Manage and support event logistics, speaking, invitations, registration, conference materials. and on-site assistance to create an experiential marketing experience
  • Oversee editorial strategy and production for Deloitte's consumer podcast, That Makes Cents , maintaining it as a valuable channel for promoting and targeting Deloitte thought leadership to the Consumer industry. Responsibilities include:
    • Strategy: Identification of compelling topics, relevant SMEs, and client speakers
    • Content development: Draft scripts and promotional copy
    • Project management: Coordinate with various stakeholders to manage publishing schedules, oversee production/advertising budget, analyze metrics to boost listenership, and ensure reach to the Consumer industry audience
      • Identify key performance indicator metrics, use data to analyze the impact and success of campaigns, and put forth recommendations based on performance; create and maintain monthly communications metrics and analysis reports for leaders
      • Maintain risk best practices for content and client speaking agreements
        • Support development of annual marketing strategy by researching competitor and client activities. Use insights on trends to identify white space and improve the marketing program on an on-going basis.

          • 2-5 years of related experience in marketing, with a professional services firm, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning
          • Understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and tactics and how they come together to provide measurable results
          • Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet stakeholder expectations
          • High level of comfort with ambiguity, changing timelines, and fluid priorities
          • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
          • Strong project management skills
          • Outstanding verbal, written, and collaboration skills
          • Polished executive presence and professional client service manner; ability to influence Deloitte leaders
          • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
          • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related business field; Advanced degrees preferred
          • Curiosity and willingness to learn and test different formats, methods, and channels
          • limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
          • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
