We are seeking a talented Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer to support the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) interceptor missile and ground system.
The PAC-3 family of missiles are the only combat proven Hit-to-Kill interceptors that defend against incoming threats, including tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft through direct body-to-body contact delivering exponentially more kinetic energy on the target than can be achieved with blast-fragmentation kill mechanisms.
This role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule.
What You'll Do:
--- Utilize air defense missile system models and simulations to produce engineering analysis data
--- Support performance verification of hardware/software configurations and flight test preflight analysis
--- Support performance-related risk assessments
--- Development and maintenance of data reduction and presentation tools

Basic Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Physics
--- Proficient in computer programing and MATLAB
--- Current security clearance
--- Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
Desired Skills:
--- Prior experience with missile simulation and data reduction
--- FORTRAN and/or C++ experience
--- Prior experience with flight testing and range safety analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
