immediate need for a Senior Inspector to prepare and inspect
products, samples, purchased materials and parts, using
non-destructive testing procedures such as fluorescent penetrant,
magnetic particle, specialized eddy current or ultrasonics,
microscopy or other complex inspection techniques requiring
extensive training and/or certification. The senior inspector will
perform chemical analyses for control of manufacturing processes
and parameters such as anodizing, conversion coating, salt spray,
coolants and others. The senior inspector will also observe,
inspect or verify process control procedures, results and records
(such as operator inspections, SPC, machine controls, etc.). The
senior inspector will prepare and maintain appropriate records.
Identify and document substandard items or conditions. Work in any
manufacturing or other assigned local areas. 5th Shift:
Friday-Sunday 7pm - 7am What You Will Do Participate in training
and achieve certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT);
maintain certification. Complete chemical lab training, pass
testing requirements, and maintain proficiency. Receive assignments
for manufacturing or inspection areas and specific items or
processes. Familiarize yourself with product, process,
specifications, and inspection instructions. Ensure inspection or
analytical equipment is in reliable, clean condition and calibrated
as needed. Process parts through chemical solutions or prepare them
for NDT; inspect for conformity and unusual conditions. Prepare
simple chemical reagents and obtain samples according to
specifications and control schedules. Perform chemical analyses and
calculations as specified. Record inspection results and
dispositions on appropriate forms and enter data into the computer.
Identify items as accepted or otherwise and arrange transportation
if necessary. Inform supervision of abnormal situations or need for
instruction. Return equipment and materials to storage after
completing tasks. Maintain a clean, orderly laboratory, testing
equipment, and work area. Perform other inspection and Quality
Assurance duties as assigned by the supervisor. Attend
quality-related training and department meetings to maintain or
update skills. Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and
auxiliary equipment to ensure a safe, orderly environment. Check
and maintain operating levels of fluids and machine materials
(e.g., coolant, shot). Move materials between workstations and
cells using hand trucks, hoists, or robot assistance. Oil machines
as needed. Retrieve items from the tool crib and complete necessary
forms/transactions. You will be required to perform mathematical
calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication or
division and pass a pre-employment qualification test. You will be
required to pass a vision assessment once per year, including an
initial normal color vision test prior to employment. You will be
required to perform substantial reaching and moving while standing,
twisting; stooping; and be response to sounds associated to the
work environment. You will be required to lift to 25 lbs.
unassisted, anything over 25 lbs. would be assisted. You will be
required to wear personal protective equipment as required. You
will be required to adhere to all EH&S roles and
responsibilities as stated in manufacturing work instructions and
EHS policies and procedures. Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a HS Diploma or a GED Minimum of 1 year CNC machining
experience or minimum of 2 years quality manufacturing experience.
Experience working with technical documents (including any of the
following: routings, blueprints, Engineering process
specifications, written work instructions.) Qualifications We

Returned Goods) or satisfactorily complete pretest to demonstrate
