Brief Description of Role/Department The Principal Specialist,
Facilities Maintenance, Electrical Engineer will be responsible for
supporting facilities electrical design, electrical infrastructure
and power distribution systems, and construction project
management. What You Will do: This position will be responsible for
Facilities Maintenance Electrical Engineering oversight primarily
supporting the McKinney site. Required to maintain core electrical
infrastructure systems including outdoor substations, medium and
low voltage power distribution systems and emergency and standby
power systems, UPS, 400HZ power converters, fire alarm and fire
protection systems, communication systems, grounding and lightning
protection systems and other specialty systems. Coordinate
maintenance of the electrical medium voltage power distribution and
infrastructure system with contractor partners. Requires working
knowledge of project load sizing, coordination studies, arch flash
analysis and studies, Lightning protection maintenance and studies.
Maintain and update electrical panel schedules and electrical arch
flash labeling. Supports in-house electrical metering system and
electrical troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure. Coordinate
and lead Facilities team and contractors in performance of
electrical maintenance shutdown activities. Supports Facilities
Maintenance to maintain all RTX and Raytheon Corporate EHS&S
Standards, Policy requirements and codes. Reviews electrical design
and construction to ensure compliance with all RTX, Raytheon,
Federal, State, and local codes, regulations, and standards with
regards to assigned electrical systems. Qualifications You Must
Have: This role typically requires a BS Electrical Engineering,
(BSEE), BS Architectural Engineer, Power Engineering or related
discipline and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience in
building electrical engineering or an advance degree and 2 years of
experience At least 2 years of experience with and strong
understanding of Building Automation and controls, especially
Schneider, Siemens, Delta, and JCI programs, and Computerized
Maintenance Management organization and CMMS systems At least 2
years of experience with and strong knowledge of Electrical
Distribution Systems and Asset Protection Programs including Fire
Systems and Fire alarm systems and the ability to oversee programs
and work with team to accomplish compliance and continuous
improvement goals At least 2 years in building electrical
engineering to include experience or knowledge of some or all the
following: High, Medium and Low Voltage rated power distribution
systems. Power Distribution Systems having multi-frequency ratings
(e.g. 60 and 400 HZ.) Load calculations and electrical distribution
equipment Sizing. Industrial controls and interlock systems.
Electrical power distribution system engineering analysis including
load, voltage drop, fault current, motor starting, harmonic and
equipment arc flash evaluation and safety labeling. Overcurrent
protective device Coordination Studies. Interior and exterior
lighting design and controls. Familiarity with building electrical
systems and general understanding of building construction and
civil works. Qualifications We Prefer: Expert knowledge of OSHA,
NFPA 70, 70E, 72, 90, 101, and 110 as well as national, state,
local codes and regulations concerning facilities
design/engineering, operations and maintenance activities. Solid
experience writing clear technical engineering specifications,
reports and operating procedures. Excellent written and oral
communications skills and ability to communicate with Top
Leadership, Suppliers & Vendors, Contractors, and internal
customers. Proficiency in reading, printing/plotting, and creating
CAD Drawings and construction documents. Solid computer skills
including proficiency with AutoCad, REVIT, Microsoft Excel, Word,

remote. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
