more secure world. We have an opening for a Principal Specialist,
Contracts supporting our Maritime Surveillence Radar (MSR) program
that specializes in multi-domain radar solutions. This product line
falls under the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic
Business Unit (SBU). In this role, you will be responsible for
cradle-to-grave contract administration activities to include
proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract
administration, and contract closeout. You will enable significant
customer activities to fulfill contract requirements in accordance
with company policies, legal requirements, and customer
specifications. A successful candidate will contribute to sole
source and competitive pursuits, as well as execution efforts, with
our customer. You will handle Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
based, Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant efforts, and
Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) activity within this role
accompanied by associated Terms and Conditions review and
negotiation. Additionally, the Principal Specialist, Contracts is
required to work closely with Program Management leadership, and
cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program
management reviews, proposal reviews, and all other contractual
related matters affecting the portfolios. We are seeking a
Contracts professional with business acumen and initiative who
thrives and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team
environment and can navigate complex contractual landscapes, manage
risk, and foster strong internal and external customer
relationships. Your efforts will be critical to delivering products
critical to Raytheon and the warfighter. This position is currently
designated as Onsite. The successful candidate will be required to
work onsite at the Raytheon facility in McKinney, TX. What You Will
Do Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply
Chain and be critical member of the PMO Develop and respond to
Request for Proposals (RFP), contract negotiation, contract
administration, non-disclosure agreements, and other business
agreements Manage these contract types: Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF),
Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Domestic Commercial Sales (DCS) Work with
local DCMA/DCAA on government contracts Interface with customers
for correspondence, contractual changes and contractual issues
Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies and
practices Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically
thinking, gathering detailed information, and proactively
collaborating with relevant stakeholders Provide advice/guidance on
contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure
to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes Advise and/or represent
the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters
Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and means
to mitigate contractual/program risks; compile and analyze data;
and maintain historical records Work autonomously with limited
oversight and may provide input or guidance to lower-level
professionals with tasks and assignments Multi-task routine and
complex contract and proposal activities while responding to
unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent
experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
Experience working in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement,
Estimating/Pricing, and / or Finance Experience with U.S.
Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental

remote. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when

experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a

structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application
