Director of Product Engineering Support - Open to Full Remote (CST or EST) Location: Arlington, VA or Remote (Central or Eastern Time Zone - US)-- Fonteva is the leading Salesforce.com ISV (Independent Software Vendor) for Events Management and Membership. We are a product company that develops highly configurable membership, events, and eCommerce products, native to Salesforce, that can easily scale and quickly integrate with other business solutions. As the leader of our Product Engineering Support team, you will lead a team of talented on-shore and off-shore software engineers to quickly evaluate and solve technical product issues and evangelize technical best practices throughout the organization.-- The ideal candidate will bring a passion for learning, a strong track record in engineering skills, and experience in building effective and scalable teams in a fast-paced organization. This role requires a hands-on technical and tactical manager with the ability to think and act strategically.-- Additional responsibilities include:

• Develop and evolve Product Engineering Support strategy that contributes to the efficiency and success of Fonteva
• Develop and deliver engineering tools, and programs in conjunction with the Product Engineering and content development teams
• Enable our employees to become a global community of evangelists sharing ideas, experiences and solving problems together
• Serve as the highest escalation point for customers and work with the Product Engineering and Customer Support team to resolve issues
• Train engineers on Salesforce and Fonteva product architecture and best practices--
• Work closely with Product Engineering to improve product quality and troubleshooting diagnostics of product
• Conduct architectural reviews of implementations by internal teams or customers to improve product and system performance Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in Consulting, Product Engineering and/or Customer Support
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management role
  • Salesforce App Builder or Platform Developer 1 certification
  • Experience implementing security on the Salesforce platform
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Communities
  • Experience building custom Lightning applications
  • Using Force.com APIs including Metadata API, SOAP API, REST API, and Tooling API.
  • Understanding of the SFDC Data model and Architecture
  • Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)
  • Experience with developer tools like git and standard IDEs
  • SOAP/REST APIs and general API design
