Our Global Government division, headquartered in Arlington, VA,
supports federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland
Security, the Department of Transportation, the United States Coast
Guard, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.---If you are

you are looking for. We are looking for a Management Consultant
(Remote) to support the implementation of organizational and
performance improvement programs within the Department of
Transportation. The candidate will work on a dynamic team comprised
of ABS Group employees and highly engaged clients to meet
fast-paced project requirements and provide end-user support. Every
day, our team members analyze and design solutions to inform
clients how to best address their most complex challenges and
improve business operations. The ideal candidate is a team player,
critical thinker, and problem solver who enjoys working in a
dynamic collaborative environment. General Responsibilities:
- Work with government organizations to maximize performance and
organizational effectiveness by improving planning processes,
standard operating procedures, prioritizing and implementing
initiatives, developing performance measures, and training
government personnel to facilitate change management
- Facilitate working group meetings, interviews, and requirements
gathering sessions with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and understand client expectations as part of the
requirements gathering process
- Exercise sound judgment to effectively anticipate and mitigate
risks across the project life cycle
- Advise team members in the satisfactory execution of
deliverables to ensure on-time delivery with support from the
Project Manager
- Review client deliverables and provide actionable feedback to
team members
- Participate in analysis and proposed design of solutions to
client business needs and ensure the proposed solution concepts are
aligned with client expectations and constraints
- Create performance metrics, collect performance data, and apply
appropriate analytical techniques to demonstrate significant trends
and inform decision making
- Develop tailored briefing materials and reports to communicate
concepts, analysis results, and recommendations to a diverse group
of stakeholders
- Be comfortable presenting your work to audiences at all levels
of the organization to convey results or to facilitate discussion
to support a client decision
- Prepare project documentation such as minutes, business process
documents, workflow diagrams, end-user documentation, and training
material
- Identify opportunities for enhancing service offerings and
developing business within a client organization or business
area
- Maintain a positive working environment and can-do attitude to
foster productive and healthy team and client relationships
Qualifications This should describe you:
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up
with new clients, their business needs, and technologies
- Strong communication skills with a broad range of stakeholder
groups
- Analytical skills, including the ability to collect,
synthesize, and summarize relevant data
- Reliable, client-focused, and capable of working independently
under the supervision of project managers
- Ability to motivate teammates and generate momentum in
executing tasks and developing deliverables that meet client needs
and expectations
- Ability to distill information, develop insights, and work
alongside clients to solve complex challenges
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation
skills
- Self-starter, team player, and leader in a fast-paced
environment
- Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments
based on client needs Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience
- U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret
level clearance -Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting government clients
- Degree in Business or similar field
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 guidelines
- Experience with application of industry standard
guidelines
- Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) or Certified
