Job Description:
Global General Procurement (G2P) is a dynamic and agile
organization in the process of significant transformation. The
**Procurement Program Manager** will directly support our growth
and evolution into a strategic business-aligned enablement function
by modernizing and improving our existing source-to-pay processes
to support digitalization, automation, and broader business value
creation. We are looking for passionate, driven, collaborative

As the Procurement Program Manager for Global General Procurement
(G2P) at Applied Materials, you will report to Global Head of
Center of Excellence. You will be critical to continuous
development of the Global General Procurement organization and will
empower procurement transformation through the management of key
procurement programs, including selection and implementation of
multiple technologies with the source-to-pay landscape, ensuring a
holistic and integrated platform.
Projects will include business process architecture and related
technical solution implementations, and support of the development
of new or updated functional capabilities for G2P (ex: sourcing,
category management, risk management, procurement, analytics,
etc.)
The successful Procurement Program Manager will draw on a diverse
background of skills such as people management, project management,
technical expertise, and business acumen. G2P team members are
expected to maintain the highest level of partnership, innovation,
efficiency, and compliance supporting the companies mission to Make
Possible.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design and manage projects to increase the indirect procurement
capabilities globally
+ Act as an enabler for G2P, driving key programs to success
+ Navigate and coordinate within a complex and collaborative global
environment
+ Identify and help drive resolution to systemic
process,technologyand program gaps
+ Influence/affect change and drive results, fostering
relationships, managing conflict with confidence and integrity, and
removing roadblocks to enable win-win for the company
+ Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and
deliverables
+ Develop KPIs and metrics to manage program performance and
provide visibility to internal stakeholders and leadership
+ Partner with suppliers and technology teams to build scalable
solutions to business problems
+ Prepare project plans and coordinate the attainment of project
deliverables from planning to implementation.
+ Drive project deliverables and task details through facilitation
of project meetings, the use of reports, tracking charts and,
checklists.
+ Align the activities of resources internal to the business unit
to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the
project.
+ Participate on design teams to complete projects. Contribute to
the team's business and technical development in the pursuit of the
team's project goals.
**Experience and skills:**
+ Demonstrated program leadership, customer oriented and results
focused
+ Strong understanding of procurement platforms and the processes
and disciplines that they support such as procurement, analytics,
strategic sourcing and category management, supplier relationship
management
+ Broad and deep knowledge of project and program management
methodologies, including Agile
+ Able to balance the need for project governance and flexibility
approach to meet the business needs
+ Impeccable program management skills, and a passion to drive
projects and programs to successful completion
+ 10 + years project management experience, preferably in
technology related to sourcing / procurement / supply chain
+ Passion andprior experience implementing /enhancingprocurement
softwaresolutions(e.g. SAP SRM, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP Ariba,
Fieldglass)
+ Proven ability to lead complex and /or virtual teams. Team player
and team builder. Facilitates communication, decision making, and
alignment with team members and internal and external
stakeholders.
+ Excellent communication skills, including writing, articulating,
listening, and questioning.
+ Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build
consensus.
+ Thrives in a dynamic work environment; has can-do attitude.
Challenges the status quo and consistently seeks improvement.
Ability to influence and affect change.
+ Solid problem solving and time management skills
+ Strong attention to detail, highly organized
+ Ability to effectively shift priorities and work at a fast

+ Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project skills. Smartsheets
experience a plus.
