Job DescriptionThe Transportation Department of the North
Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking multiple Interns to
provide support in Air Quality Management and Operations. These
positions will assist to reduce negative transportation-related
emissions, energy, and air quality impacts. Specific projects
include, but are not limited to, supporting the Dallas-Fort Worth
Clean Cities Coalition and Electric Vehicles North Texas
initiatives. Positions are available to support several focus
areas, including working with fleets to advance adoption of
alternative fuel and electric vehicles; coordinating with local
stakeholders to plan alternative fuel infrastructure, especially
for electric vehicle charging; organizing events to raise consumer
awareness; and collaborating with local governments to develop
policies for community readiness for electric vehicles. Work is
collaborative in nature, working not only within the NCTCOG team,
but also with external stakeholders, including fleets, citizen
groups, associations, and industry representatives. Applicants

accredited college or university while in the position and able to

collection, organization, and analysisAssisting with drafting

review and maintenance of NCTCOG's air quality

developmentDrafting responses to various inquiriesRequired
SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to
follow instructionsProficiency in Microsoft programs, including
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and TeamsCritical-thinking and
problem-solving skillsSound mathematical skillsDetail oriented,
highly organized, and have ability to handle multiple tasks on
short deadlinesMust be able to work independently and in a team
environmentRequired ExperienceMust be enrolled in an accredited
