Works closely with the Associate University Librarians, Department Heads/Directors, and colleagues in Libraries Administration to facilitate departmental planning for budget, staffing, and physical space needs and supports the collaborative development of policies and procedures. Works collaboratively to develop and implement libraries priorities that align with the mission and vision of the University, and contributes to Libraries-wide strategic planning, resource management, policies, and assessment. Represents the Libraries on various University committees and ad hoc groups and in state, regional and national arenas and works closely with other University offices and leaders to ensure the Libraries administrative functions are in alignment with University policies, operations, initiatives, and strategic directions. Performs other duties as required.Required Qualifications Masters degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience. Computer literate and technologically adept. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in Windows Operating System and file management.Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in business administrations, public administration or closely related degree. Five (5) years of professional library experience in management of human resources or budgeting. Experience in library facilities or operations. Three (3) years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience with UTAs budgeting, financial, human resource, and facilities tools such as Hyperion PCBS, UT Share, PeopleAdmin, and CASIM. Demonstrated leadership experience. Experience providing internal and external customer in a 24/7 setting.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize the financial, facilities, and human resources of the Library Ability to work collegially and collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds Ability to foster a positive working environment and model the Libraries values through daily actions and behaviors Ability to innovatively use technology and evidence-based decision-making practices to develop and implement best practice for financial, business, facilities and human resources services. Advanced project planning and management skills Ability to lead, cultivate, and empower staff.
