JOB CODE: (R690917) RN/Director of Surgical Services LOCATION: Dallas suburb (TX) Hospital facility seeking an experienced Surgical Services Director to lead the perioperative team by focusing on safe patient care while effectively managing operations. The Director Surgical Services has 24/7 responsibility for their departments and reports directly to the VP of Surgical Services. Will oversee 30 FTEs, 5 ORs, strong robotics program for GYN and strong Ortho program., PACU, and Day Surgery. Additional information will be provided to qualified candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree (MHA/MSN/MBA or related field preferred More than three (3+) years of experience in Surgical Services or preferably OR nursing required More than three (3+) years of experience in a leadership role preferred Must have acute care experience Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred The above statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.
