HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Wellness of Arlington Matlock is looking for a high energy, super friendly, customer-oriented super star to join our team!Exceptional phone skills are mandatory. Most importantly you must be loyal, timely, and passionate about assisting patients through their journey to health.Ability to learn quickly and take a leadership role is a must! The receptionist area of the office is the command center of the practice. Once patient hours begin the receptionist becomes the quarterback of the practice. You must be multi-faceted with great people skills and a capacity to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and with great ease.Responsibilities:

  • Greeting, welcoming and directing patients.
  • Printing, handling and scanning patient related documents.
  • Answering and returning calls.
  • Verifying insurances, collecting co-payments and balancing cash receipts.
  • Entering patient information into electronic health records.
  • Scheduling patient appointments.
  • Assisting patients with insurance, plan, and benefit questions and information.
  • Printing and distributing reports to appropriate personnel.
  • Participating in community education events as needed.Qualifications/Skills: You need to be passionate about health and wellness as well as a great written and verbal communicator. Strong knowledge of basic computer use and all office software is a must. Experience with electronic health records, electronic schedulers and electronic insurance claims submission is beneficial. You must possess outstanding problem solving skills, demonstrate initiative, be reliable and have great organization skills as well as impeccable attention to detail. You must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be self-motivating to complete tasks in a timely fashion and have the ability to delegate efficiently.Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a patient care setting or in customer servicePrior insurance billing experience is requiredHealthSource is a drug-free workplace.     • Tuesday: 8:45am - 12:30pm, 1:50pm - 6:00pm
    • Wednesday: 7:45am - 12:30pm, 1:50pm - 6:00pm
    • Thursday: 7:45am - 12:30pm, 1:50pm - 7:00pm (-36-40 hours per week)Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hourBenefits:
