Women/Baby - Rotating

Oh baby! Our Women's Services departments are growing by leaps and
bounds. We're looking for experienced Women's/Baby Registered
Nurses to join our Central Staffing Office team to float to at
least 3 Texas Health Resources hospitals.
Position Highlights
* Work location: The address is based out of 612 E. Lamar,
Arlington, TX 76011 and will float to a minimum of 3 hospitals.
* Work environment: Must have flexibility to float throughout the
Metroplex to a minimum of three (3) or more Texas Health Resources
hospitals.
* Under the direction of the health care provider, the Registered
Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes
the safety and well-being of all patients.
* Work hours: Part-time, 24 hours weekly, 12-hour shifts, Variable
shifts/schedules-with a majority of them being night shifts
* Weekday, Weekend and Holiday (1 winter holiday per year
required)
* Self-scheduling
* No weekend requirement - Except when work the one (1) booking
agreement per year (usually between 8-weeks to 13-weeks) on any
unit, must work the weekend requirements set by the unit.

Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing Required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign
education equivalency Required
Experience
3 Years Experience with one year in the last three years as a
clinical nurse in specialty area of position Required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent
patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Required And
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program maternal newborn nursery Upon
Hire Required
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN
will:
* Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive
interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced
environment.
* maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward
patients
* possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of
professionalism
* have basic computer skills using Medical management application
systems
Position Responsibilities
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
* assesses the patient
* plans the care of the patient
* intervenes as appropriate
* evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into
patient care.
* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need
for information
* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital,
and while expediting out of hospital transfers
