You've come to the right place.Our Main Operating Room consists of 10 Suites with a focus on Trauma, Ortho and GYN as well as general surgical procedures.-- Our tenured staff of Operating Room and Day Surgery RN's assist our highly qualified and caring Physicians in a wide variety of cases.-- We have da Vinci Robotic assisted surgery as well as an Outpatient unit.--The--RN Day Surgery--is responsible for assessing the operative nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care. The RN is responsible for:
  • Providing care (appropriate for age specific - pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics), the developmental and safety needs, the planned procedure, and the anesthetic agent used
  • Communicating and educating the patient and/or their family members and/or significant others regarding events pertinent to their care

    • Associate's Degree required
    • Current Texas State RN license or compact state license is accepted.
    • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
    • ACLS preferred
    • CNOR preferred
    • One year of previous nursing experience required, preferably in critical hospital setting
