Description:Urgent Care for Kids & Virtual Care for Families currently has 13 clinic locations across Texas and is rapidly growing. We are on the hunt for sharp and innovative Nurse Practitioners, PNP-FNP -or- Physician Assistants certified to work in Urgent Care to work in our DFW West area Urgent Care clinics who share our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience. In this position, you'll work under the supervision of the site physician(s) and work collaboratively with the clinic care team to render age-appropriate care. You will practice under established protocols. You will also assume independent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures.     • Urgent care work experience highly preferred
    • Knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment; 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP, FNP) -or- Physician Assistant
    • Knowledge of Urgent Care Procedures: Laceration Repair, initial management of fractures, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow
    • Knowledge of related OSHA and CLIA guidelines and requirements, general office tasks, confidentiality and filing system
    • Current, valid, unencumbered license as a registered nurse (RN) from the Texas Board of Nursing
    • Active Certification - By national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC / FNP-BC) -or- NCCPA
    • PALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Willingness to cover weekdays and weekends, along with willingness to travel to cover clinics within your market region PI200687216
