RN/Registered Nurse- ICU, Central Staffing Office - Arlington,
TXRegistered Nurse (RN) - ICU/Intensive Care - Full-time, Nights
We're looking for experienced ICU RN's to join our dynamic group of
individuals that float to at least 3 Texas Health Resources
hospitals.-- Join our team and you will play a unique and important
role centered in closing the gaps and stepping in when most needed-
while providing excellent care to the people in the community in
which you serve. -- Position Highlights
Work location: Address is based out
of 612 E. Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011 and will float to a minimum of
3 hospitals. Work environment: Texas Health Resources Central
Staffing Office - internal staffing department that provides
clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals.-- Must have
flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex to a minimum of three
(3) or more hospitals and work at least one (1) holiday worked per
year.-- Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, working
night--shift This is a sign on bonus eligible position (external

Associate's Degree Nursing required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Other - CLIAFE Must comply with
CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
-- Experience
3 years' experience as a RN with one
year in the last three years as a clinical nurse in ICU. --
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire
required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing
independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required And
NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification
(prior to clinical work performed) within 30 days of hire required
And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days pf
hire required -- In addition to the required qualifications, a
successful RN will
demonstrate a high degree of
confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to
function in a fast-paced environment. maintain a positive,
customer-focused attitude toward patients. possess a strong work
ethic and always display a high level of professionalism. have
basic computer skills using Medical management application systems.
Position Responsibilities Delivers care to patients utilizing the
Nursing Process --- assesses the patient --- plans the care of the
patient --- intervenes as appropriate --- evaluates the
effectiveness of interventions --- Incorporates age specific
safety/infection control measures into patient care. --- Initiates
action to meet patient and/or significant others need for
information --- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift,
inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers Why
