Intermediate care unit that cares for a patient population of
increased levels of acuity. In this department, you will have the
exciting opportunity to care for a wide spectrum of patient
populations that meet criteria for Intermediate care. /n /n You
will interact and work alongside dedicated intensivist, Advanced
Practice Providers, and a complete multidisciplinary team that

Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care
management, following our nursing practice model. They work with
other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our
Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They
diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans
accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
/n Essential Functions of the Role /n /n - Prioritize needs.
Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt
plan as necessary. /n - Observe indicators closely, support
evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning. /n -
Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and
staff. /n - Build relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on
managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce
suffering. /n - Facilitate learning for all members of the
healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff,
ensuring everyone is well-informed. /n - Collaborate effectively
with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an
integrated plan of care. /n - Use problem-solving strategies and
utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff
as part of a systems thinking approach. /n /n Key Success Factors
/n /n - Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and
procedures. /n - Awareness of legal requirements and standards of
certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of
the hospital and respective department/unit. /n - Good command of
medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk
reduction, and disease prevention. /n - Effective communication
skills, along with social aptitude for interacting with diverse
stakeholders. /n - Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving
skills is crucial. /n - Capability to identify and report changes
in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as
required. /n - Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day

Qualifications - Grad of an Accredited Program - Specialized field
of study should be nursing. - RN license. - Must have min 2 years
ICU RN Experience - Must have BLS certification or get it within 30
days of starting in this role.
