Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Arlington, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts (36-40 hours per week), 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM. No call, weekends, or holidays. Highlights: - Multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center with 14 Pre-Op beds, 14 PACU beds, and 6 operating rooms - Diverse case mix including orthopedics (total joints), GI procedures, general surgery, urology, gynecology, podiatry, and pain management - Day shift only position with no weekend, holiday, or call requirements - Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high attention to patient care and detail - PACU ratios of 2:1 and Pre-Op ratios of 1:1 - Work alongside a collaborative team of 55 clinical professionals Requirements: - Active RN license in the state of Texas - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Strong orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred - Pre-Op or PACU experience highly desirable - Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and identification - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment - Professional demeanor with strong teamwork and collaboration skills Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse seeking a Monday-through-Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.
