Job Description Job Description We are seeking a full-time or
part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our
team! We are a Rural Health Clinic in Whitney, Texas that is
recognized for its dedication to quality patient care and serving
the community. Need loan assistance? We are a HRSA/NHSC qualified
employer for loan repayment assistance. Responsibilities: Diagnose
and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all
necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical
examinations of patients Perform minor procedures including but not
limited to suturing and neoplasm removal Counseling and educating
patients on health behaviors, self-care skills and treatment
options Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic studies
(e.g. lab tests, x-rays, EKG's) Provide well-child care, including
screenings and immunizations Develop and implement patient
management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other
healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with
collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications: 2 years' experience in a clinic setting required
Experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required Ability
to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills TX
APRN or PA license Current ACLS/BLS certification Current DEA
license with prescriptive authority Company Description This is an
