As a Certified Surgical Tech 2, you will play a pivotal role in our surgical teams, providing critical support to surgeons and ensuring that all operations proceed seamlessly. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing complex, dynamic environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring that all instruments and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during procedures, handling instruments and supplies, and managing surgical equipment. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination. Ensure proper care and handling of all surgical specimens. Assist in monitoring and maintaining equipment, reporting any malfunctions for immediate repair. Support patient safety and adhere to all surgical protocols and standards. Participate in post-operative debriefing and equipment restocking for subsequent surgeries. Proficiency in sterilization techniques Strong understanding of human anatomy and surgical procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure Competency in using surgical instruments and other medical devices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
