HCA Healthcare invites applications for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist in our NICU ward, focused on providing specialized respiratory care to neonates. Join a team where your skills will support our mission to improve human life by administering critical respiratory treatments, collaborating with NICU medical staff, and ensuring the comfort and recovery of our youngest patients. Administer respiratory treatments as prescribed by neonatologists. Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate family members on patient care and respiratory treatments. Work collaboratively with the NICU team to plan and evaluate care interventions. Ensure the sterilization and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment. Proficient in neonatal vent management Skilled in CPAP and BIPAP machines Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist BLS/ACLS certification NRP certification preferred
