Technician / Technologist Location: Frisco, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,181 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Endoscopy Technician 1 Profession: Endoscopy Technician Specialty: Endoscopy Technician Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 Hours AM Hours per Shift: 5x8s, M-F, 0630-1500 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: BLS (AHA Only) Certifications: None specified Must-Have: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent Description: The Endoscopy Technician 1, under general supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists with technical procedures, patient care services, and other duties as assigned. Operates and maintains equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists physician and other designated clinical staff members in carrying out procedures which require aseptic techniques, observing standard precautions. Safely transports carts to different areas of the facility as needed. Prepares patients for exams or procedures and assists physicians. Observes patients, recognizes changes in condition, and promptly seeks appropriate assistance. Cleans rooms before and after procedures. Takes soiled equipment to the decontamination room. Maintains an adequate inventory of equipment and supplies for the assigned area. Places general and special supply orders from purchasing in a timely manner. Sets up procedure rooms by ensuring that all needed equipment and supplies are in the room and in good working order. Restocks all supplies in assigned rooms at the end of the shift. Performs quality checks on equipment and ensures repairs, if necessary. Cleans and disinfects specialty equipment according to established policies and procedures. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language. Ability to see and hear with or without correction. Takes personal responsibility to participate in performance improvement activities. Attends in-service education as required for the job. Attends staff meetings; if unable to attend, is responsible for content.
