Job Description:
Job DescriptionSCOPE: Responsible to provide a combination of
strategic HR leadership and tactical support to leaders and line
managers to include innovative HR solutions and approaches with a
focus on driving success and developing and delivering on our
people agenda. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops & implements effective HR initiatives and strategies
including talent and performance management, workforce planning and
communications.
- Provides high-quality advice and service to management of all
levels on daily employee relations and performance management
issues.
- Acts as an employee advocate providing coaching and advisory
services.
- Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and
clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions, coaching and
counseling managers and employees. Manages employee relations
issues from beginning to end, including partnering with employees
on performance improvement plans, investigating complaints, issuing
performance warnings and managing separations.
- Solves problems, getting to the root cause of any issue.
Completes analysis and is able to translate data into insight,
builds dashboards and enables data driven decisions.
- Works with HR colleagues to develop and implement recruitment,
training, compliance, compensation, and total rewards initiatives
and solutions.
- Proactively build and manage relationships, maintaining
credibility and ensuring client service standards are met
- Provide guidance in talent planning, job design, training
initiatives and performance management to ensure staff
development
- Connect with staff in assigned area regularly to ensure staff
care is provided as needed
- Ensure functional area is in informed on issues of compliance
and established policies and procedures
- Participate with members of HR to develop and implement
departmental initiatives as directed
- Champions innovation by seeking and calling out new
opportunities. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position has no
direct supervisory responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job
operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely
uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and
smartphones. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here
are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. OTHER DUTIES:
- Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force
groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge
pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and
policies.
- Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which
focus on issues having organization wide impact.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior; God honoring
lifestyle;
- Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every
people group;
- Championing Seed Company's vision, mission, and values;
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related
field, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Requires over 3-5 year's experience in HR, Organizational
Development, Business Administration or equivalent
- Requires good working knowledge of HR principles, concepts and
practices
- PHR or SPHR; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
