Our Client who is a venture-backed biotech startup that replaces petroleum-based products with plant-derived substitutes is looking for aRecruiterto join their team on atemp-to-hirebasis!Biotech company Startup - been in business for 3 years (115 employees now and growing quickly)Hours: 8am - 5pm Pay: $30-$38 (Depending on Experience)Location: Greenway/Southwest Houston (2 locations)Temp-to-Hire MissionThe Contract Recruiter will research and attract adiverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Theincumbent will provide support to all of the organization, with Corporate andOperations as their primary focus. Fostering relationships that displaycollaboration with internal stakeholders. In addition, the incumbent shouldfacilitate a candidate experience that is engaging and highlights the cultureof the company.Key Outcomes -Develops, facilitates, and implements all phasesof the recruitment process -Consulting and collaborating with hiringmanagers on their staffing needs -Sourcing, targeting, recruiting and delivery ofhigh-quality candidates -Excellent verbal and written communicationskills -Excellent people skills -Understanding of recruiting methods and bestpractices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and localemployment laws and regulations -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite orrelated software -Source, target, recruit and deliver highlyqualified candidates using techniques and resources -Ask a lot of questions, be curious, and haveinsights into your work -Be nimble, embrace the speed and ambiguity ofstartup culture. -A passion for green chemistry and fightingclimate change. -Ability to self-manage and set your ownpriorities and schedule. -Be comfortable working in multiple roles. -Emphasize safety above all else. -Respect for others. -Creative problem solving. -Willingness to learn and research newengineering/science concepts.Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relatedfield, or equivalent work experience, required -At least 2 years of experience in a HumanResources role, preferably focused on Talent Acquisition -Experience using an Applicant Tracking System(ATS) -Demonstrated technical skills/abilities relatedto recruiting, using job boards and other recruitment tools -SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential aplusDowntown:HOUDT42PandoLogic.
