Description:Join our Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control
(MFC) team as we are pioneers of high-performance air and missile
defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment,
sensors, strike system and energy storage solutions to provide our
war fighting and civilian customers the products and services they
need in their defining moments.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (SSQE)
familiar with cybersecurity for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to
develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering
common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management
System, Program and Customer requirements.
The Cyber Software Quality Engineer responsibilities include, but
are not limited to: develops, develops overall operating criteria
to ensure implementation of the software quality program according
to project, process and contract requirements and objectives;
designs and implements software development and maintenance
processes; defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to
systems/software and cyber processes; designs, specifies and
conducts test methods for software inspection, cyber scans, cyber
image builds, verification and validation; evaluates and analyzes
software and cyber quality systems for deficiency identification
and correction; ensures measures meet acceptable reliability
standards; performs software and cyber product reviews against
contractual, technical and/or process requirements; reviews
requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test
plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and
methodologies; performs or directs verification of software and
cyber requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Travel may be required to support program activities.
Candidate must work well in a team environment, have excellent
customer interface skills, and is expected to quickly come up to
speed with the program work scopes, technical requirements, program
risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
This role requires interfacing with systems and software
development personnel, cyber personnel, test and engineering
personnel, and project managers.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above
preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience with product development phases
Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST)
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with embedded security solutions
Experience with cyber security concepts for Test Equipment
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques.
Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements
Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and
resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very
complex
Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++) to verify
implementation of requirements
Test Equipment Hardware knowledge or background skills
Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening,
presentation and technical writing
Desired Skills:
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)
Knowledge of Cybersecurity and/or Anti-tamper including system
design and vulnerability assessment
Knowledge of security protocol design and analysis
Security + Certification - basic understanding of network security,
threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography and access control.
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and
Collaboration
Experience with presentation & problem solving skills
Experience with Government customers
Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such
as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit
(AS9100, ISO9001)
Different program phase experience (development, production,
sustainment)
Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, corrective action
, preventive action, Root Cause Analysis)
SAP experience
Handling and Dispositioning Nonconformance
