Job Description:

Our client, an IT/OT services provider focused on the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated self-starter who genuinely loves to solve problems with software, has a strong set of technical skills, and looks for opportunities to enhance their skills using emerging technologies. The primary focus will be development in support of existing business objectives and client applications using SQL Server, .NET, C#, and JavaScript, but will help drive growth by creating proofs of concept and defining business cases for new technologies.

The Development Team is a collaborative group with high expectations regarding execution and deliverable quality. The ideal candidate for this position will welcome peer and manager feedback, while also providing critique and recommendations regarding the work of others. He/she is looking to make an immediate impact and help drive the overall growth of the Development team.

Note: United States citizenship is required to meet contract requirements. The ability to obtain a security clearance may also be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, optimize, scale, maintain, and improve software applications to satisfy business requirements for complex projects
Understand, define, and develop product requirements, providing development estimates as needed; translate functional specifications into working software
Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance solution tools and architectures
Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
Write technical specifications and test plans as necessary; conduct and assist in unit and integration testing
Prioritize, assign, perform, and review project tasks to meet competing deadlines
Mentor and train junior Software Developers and Interns
Essential Skills
Minimum of 7 years of professional C#, SQL, and .Net experience
Proficiency with modern web UI technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and frameworks/Bootstrap, HTML5, Razor/Blazor, ReactJS a plus)
Experience defining architecture requirements for large-scale applications
Experience with Web API/RESTful services
Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong working knowledge of object-oriented design/programming, n-tier web applications, XML, ASP.Net, and relational databases
Cloud computing experience (Azure and/or AWS)
Code/application security scanning experience preferred
