We are currently seeking experienced Flatbed CDL-A Truck Drivers who are committed to safety and professionalism. Our ideal candidate is not only adept at operating flatbed trucks but also thrives in a dynamic environment and demonstrates a passion for excellence in transportation logistics. Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport goods as directed by logistics management, ensuring timely delivery. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in compliance with traffic laws and rest regulations. Coordinate with the logistics team to track deliveries and troubleshoot any issues that arise on the route. Secure cargo properly using tarps and straps, ensuring load integrity and safety. Maintain communication with dispatch to report conditions, mechanical issues, or delays. Manage documentation relevant to delivery and transportation regulations. Follow accident procedures in the case of an emergency and report incidents to the dispatcher. Adhere to Hogan1 policies, along with local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Proven work experience as a Flatbed Truck Driver Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules, regulations, and safety standards Familiarity with truck maintenance procedures Strong stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Good communication and navigation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) DOT physical examination (current DOT Medical Card) Certification in Transportation of Hazardous Materials is a plus, but not required.
