Job Description Job Description WAREHOUSE WORKER As a total
interior solutions resource, the Allied Group of Companies offers a
diverse line-up of products and services. From stone surfaces and
cabinetry to sales, service, and more, we are the one-stop for all
interior upgrades. Each of our manufacturing facilities utilizes
state-of-the-art, custom CNC machines, edging machines, and robotic
water-jet machines. We also employ environmentally friendly
practices such as recycling the water used in our fabrication
process. We are Allied Stone strong and Allied Stone proud, and we
are looking for a motivated self-starting Warehouse Worker in our
Desoto location. The Warehouse Worker is primarily responsible for
the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles while maintaining a
clean and safe working environment. RESPONSIBILITES Able to lift
50lbs up to 100lbs Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of
work environment. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Accepting delivery of inventory. Counting and confirming inventory.
Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. Communicating errors to
relevant parties. Marking and labeling stock. Storing inventory in
accessible manner. Loading and wrapping stock on pallets. Ability
to perform deliveries in company vehicle as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS Work experience as general laborer, preferably in
warehouse. Completion of background investigation and drug
screening. Strong people skills. Good moral character. Physically
strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse
climatic conditions. Positive work history and ability to maintain
solid attendance. Available to work extended hours. Square
