Location: Dallas, TX Why become a Senior Associate? As a Senior Associate you will join a team of skilled professionals who help our clients predict, understand and respond to business risks and events and maximize their organizational value and long-term advantage. Your primary responsibility will be executing high quality projects and services from beginning to end under the supervision of experienced leadership. You will be responsible for efficiently managing your workload to budget and learning how to apply technical skills in areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation and financial forensics and investigations. As a Senior Associate you will have opportunities to build client relationships by developing a deep understanding of our clients businesses and delivering value through your insight and quality work. In addition, as a Senior Associate you will focus on continuously developing your technical and professional skills to grow and expand your role at Echelon Analytics. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics and related fields 2 to 4+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, complex data analysis, damages quantification, financial forensic investigations, or statistical analysis Qualified to sit for the CPA exam strongly preferred Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 Willingness and ability to work additional hours and travel to various client sites (as needed) Advanced data analysis skills using SAS, SQL, or STATA also a plus Skill Requirements Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Access Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job and self-directed training Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment with strong attention to detail Responsibilities: Performing financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses Developing models to assist in the quantification of economic damages Performing data validation and analysis, including working with large datasets Reviewing key documents and assisting in organizing large document populations and gleaning critical information to incorporate into damages analyses Performing economic-, industry-, and company-specific research Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and supporting exhibits BENEFITS: Echelon Analytics offers an outstanding opportunity for career growth and development, an attractive compensation and incentive program (including four weeks of vacation per year), generous benefits including immediate participation in our 401(k) plan with firm matching, and a flexible work environment that offers individual enrichment opportunities in a team environment.
