About the opportunity: The Central Texas offices at SWCA Environmental Consultants are looking for a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to support a winning business development culture and help drive our business to the next level.In order to be considered for the position, a cover letter must accompany your resume. These may be redacted for confidentiality.What you will accomplish: * Be a "go-to" resource for technical staff for marketing information, guidance, and support.* Participate in strategic planning for pursuits and marketing efforts, including:* leading internal teams through the pursuit development process, * coordinating strategic business development activities, and* facilitating capture planning activities, working collaboratively with technical staff.* Write non-technical content for pursuits and marketing materials.* Participate in preparations for interviews and client presentations.* Work with, and mentor, regional marketing assistants, including:* monitoring opportunities (through IMS, client websites, etc.) for distribution to team members, and * managing and maintaining relevant content in SWCA's marketing database, Deltek Vision.* You will be responsible for having excellent attention to detail.* Multitasking and working with minimal supervision on numerous concurrent projects with fast-paced deadlines.* This role requires a person with exceptional planning, organizational, proofreading, writing, and formatting skills.* In this position, you will lead processes and work with colleagues who have diverse interpersonal styles.* The successful candidate will have strong communication proficiency (verbal, written and presentation).Experience and qualifications for success: * A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related technical discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated).* A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing the proposal development process. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office.* Experience handling multiple proposals projects at once.Preferred:* Prior experience working within the A/E/C industry.* Prior marketing experience in the state of Texas.* Prior experience collaborating with the Business Development team(s) to pre-position and conduct capture planning for must win efforts.* Participation with associations and/or organizational marketing experience.* Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable management information system.* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.Additional Information:* This position may require occasional overtime, including working evenings and/or weekends as necessary to meet submission deadlines.* Relocation benefits are not available for this position.* US work sponsorship is not available for this position.* The SWCA COVID-19 task force, along with your supervisor, will monitor stay home orders and determine the best work environment during and after the pandemic.SWCA Environmental Consultants is a growing employee-owned firm, providing a full spectrum of environmental services.
