Clinical Nurse Coordinator Labor and Delivery
Full Time Days 7A-7P

Under the general supervision of the unit's director, the Clinical
Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and
coordination of all functions in the unit. In collaboration with
other members of the management team, this individual is
responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient
care services provided in the department.--

RN's on our Labor and Delivery floor assist with over 4,300
deliveries per year.- Our busy 23 bed unit is staffed with a team
oriented group of caring clinical professionals including a full
physician compliment of a 24 hour Anesthesiologist, Hospitalist and
Neonatologist.- Our Nurses provide care to a wide variety of acute
patients and are supported by a helpful group of Patient Care Techs
and Nursing Management.- If you are looking for a collaborative and

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN required within 1 year
Current Texas RN license or RN compact license
Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American
Red Cross
Certification in specialty required within 1 year
Completion of charge nurse course required within one year
Other leadership training and activity in professional
organizations highly preferred
Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of
his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is
preferred.
