The Human Health Division has undergone a significant transformation over the past few years, driven by an effort to shape our company's future by building or enhancing core commercial capabilities.

In order to execute the strategy of being more adaptive and responsive to changing market needs, and to keep pace with the digital revolution happening in the marketplace, the US Market has identified a need to focus on the development, installation, and realization of key capabilities that will allow us to achieve our vision.

In this role, s/he will work as a member of the Strategy Realization Team and will be responsible for working across stakeholders to Define, Design, Build, Install and Realize commercial capabilities needed to accelerate our efforts aligned to our evolving Customer Engagement Strategy.

More specifically, the selected individual will play a primary role as a key member of the Marketing Evolution initiative--a key component of our US Market Strategy as we look to incorporate agility into our core commercial model. Over time additional opportunities may also exist to lead and/or work on other important transformation projects as part of the broader Strategy Realization Team.

Position location is agnostic.

Primary Activities:

  • Work as part of an integrated team to deliver iteratively and incrementally towards the overall vision (application of agile values and principles)

  • Promote transparency and visibility to work, risks, and opportunities

  • Build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships among leadership, peers, and support teams within and outside the organization

  • Frame business case, trade-off choices, and risks for US Market Leadership

Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree, required

  • Master's Degree, preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Recent Marketing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and/or initiatives to successful completion

  • Willingness to work in a team environment, with shared goals and accountability (agile values + principles)

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to speak with candor when appropriate

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to align various stakeholders to a common goal

  • Confidence to work independently and successfully navigate through ambiguity

  • Strong understanding of compliance-related concepts and application in all job-related functions

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

  • Amenable to servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Scrum certified and/or experience on an agile team

  • Strong understanding of change management

  • Experience leading a large field or HQ change initiative

  • Six Sigma experience and/or certifications

  • Project Management experience and/or certifications

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end marketing process

  • Strong understanding of the evolving US healthcare landscape and interdependencies
