Responsible for electrical engineering associated with protection
and control of electrical systems for generation and substation
systems. This includes protective relay design (protective relay
one-lines and schematics), protective relay setting
coordination/development, high and low voltage equipment
replacements, and balance of plant (BOP) equipment type projects.
Expected to follow client requirements and internal company quality
control and quality assurance practices.
Responsible for power systems analysis, fault current analysis,
circuit breaker coordination, electric plant stability analysis,
voltage drop analysis, and Battery sizing, and DC load flow
Design power generation or industrial electrical systems involving
preparation of: one and three line diagrams, wiring diagrams;
schematics; load flow and short circuit calculations; grounding
details; specifications for electrical equipment including motors,
MCCs, MV and HV switchgear, conduit, cables and raceways;
generators and excitation systems.

in evaluating, selecting, modifying, and applying standard
techniques, procedures, and criteria for electrical systems of
varying size and the highest complexity. Activities shall include,
but not be limited to, the following:
Preliminary design, budgetary estimating, and scheduling.
Detailed design, estimating, and scheduling.
Interdisciplinary interface for constructability and conformance to

Professional Engineering license or EIT pursuing
SCADA design system experience
2+ years experience in substation engineering design; (developing
circuits, layouts and markups)
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with low to high voltage projects (120kV-760kV)
Experience with or worked at power/utility distribution companies
(i.e. Eversource, NTERGY, PGE)
Proficient in Bluebeam or remote engineering collaboration
AutoCAD or Microstation experience
