Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Talent Acquisition Coordinator. The right candidate will serve as a resource or support for all general functions related to the daily workflow process in the Talent Acquisition and Development Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as corporate liaison to HR Coordiantors and Hiring Managers throughout the organization
  • Post open requisitions to multiple recruiting platforms nationally using daily reports provided
  • Facilitate survey request and responses using SurveyMonkey
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and Development team
  • Update and maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with daily requested task(s)
  • Utilize Excel extensively for tracking, reviewing, and reporting recruitment efforts
  • Act as liaison for social media and online recruitment resources
  • Communicate and facilitate requests from third party employment firms
  • Review and research potential articles for company newsletter
  • Communicate with internal design team to execute monthly newsletter creation and distribution
  • Assist with annual internship program development and implementation
  • Assist and respond to division/branch managers with recruiting inquiries and requests
  • Perform ad hoc requests and projects as directed
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime Job Requirements:Education and/or Experience
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Outgoing and friendly demeanor
    • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
    • ATS and/or HRIS experience required
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook Preferred Qualifications
      • Working knowledge or experience with social media platforms a plus
