Seed Company seeks to work where it is evident that God is working and where the uniqueness of its vision makes it most feasible for The Seed Company to be involved.VISION: God's Word transforming lives in every language in this generation.MISSION: To accelerate Scripture translation and impact for people without God's Word through Great Commission partnerships.VALUES: Honoring God in all we do, valuing individuals and relationships, partnering effectively, encouraging creativity and innovation, and managing for quality results.SCOPE: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will perform duties to research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract diverse, highly skilled, and capable talent to the organization guided by precedent and working within the limits of established boundaries.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develops, facilitates, and implements the full-cycle recruitment process including but not limited to; job posting; sourcing; screening applications; scheduling, attending, and conducting interviews; initiating/reviewing background checks, and making formal offers to potential staff.• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.• Collaborates with the hiring manager and HR business partner during the offer process, identifying and recommending compensation, start dates, and other pertinent details for the applicant• Build and promote the company's reputation, promoting jobs on company social media platforms and other appropriate job boards. Assists with the development of recruiting collateral.• Source and recruit candidates by using web-based technology and social media.• Maintain applicant tracking system and recruiting reports. Track and report key recruiting and hiring metrics.• Attend various recruiting events to build and attract a diverse talent pool at Seed Company. • Managing the active and passive candidate pipeline. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.• Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods.• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and company policies.• Participate with other members of the Human Resources team to develop departmental initiatives as directed.• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the applicant and employee data.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:• NoneOTHER DUTIES: • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain the required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.• Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups that focus on issues having organization wide impact.• Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in a professional or home office environment within a highly collaborative, synergistic, high-paced team.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasional exertion up to 10 pounds, lifting a box of paper, moving chairs, tables, and sliding doors. TRAVEL:This role will occasionally travel to attend recruiting events.QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior; God honoring lifestyle.• Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group; • Championing The Seed Company's vision, mission, and values. • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.• At least two years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment is required.• Experience recruiting through external job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, and Indeed Recruiter.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems, including applicant tracking systems.• Ability to exhibit discretion in confidential situations.• Excellent written and verbal skills, including high attention to detail.
