Contractor Program Security Officer

Job Description:

The selected candidate will serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) supporting special programs in Arlington, TX. As the CPSO, this individual will ensure daily security compliance tasks are conducted IAW U.S. Government instructions and policy. The candidate will work closely with the Customer, Security Management, and assigned Program staff, ensuring all aspects of Special Program security needs are met.   • Providing security guidance regarding program operations
  • Assuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations
  • Developing, obtaining approval for, and implementing security policies and procedures specific to the Program
  • Providing solutions to Program Security challenges
  • Administering security indoctrinations and debriefings
  • Conducting security reviews / self-inspections
  • Managing the administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program related investigations, and resolving other related Program Security issues
  • Providing classification guidance to employees, developing and providing security education and awareness training, conducting security briefings and program indoctrinations/debriefings, supporting security self-inspections and audits, and investigating security incidents
  • Supporting other security disciplines unique to special access programs to include: personnel security, physical security, cybersecurity, communication security (COMSEC), document control, and visitor control. Candidate must be able to respond to after-hours alarms.
  • Performing initial access eligibility determinations and generating PARs
  • Conducting internal self-inspections, and participating in Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security Compliance Inspections and Assessments
  • Maintaining classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records and final disposition documentation
  • Working knowledge in the preparation and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD 254s
  • Ensuring all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Reviewing operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes
  • Responding to walk-in customers and performing ad hoc security services, as required Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
    • Experience in implementing, managing and administering DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4
    • Experience in implementing, managing and administering Intelligence Community Directives for SCI programs is desired
    • Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
    • Strong customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communications are a must
    • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a variety of program areas
    • Willing to travel on company business 10-25%
    • Completion of SAP Orientation, SAP Mid-level Course (CDSE) preferred
    • Working knowledge of Scattered Castles, JADE, and DISS
    • Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security, specifically Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4, and ICDs 704-705
    • Ability to perform COMSEC duties, including inventory support
    • Competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs
    • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
      • Incumbent must possess an active US DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
