Salary Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant
experience. Duration Funding expected to continue Pay Basis Monthly
Benefits Eligible Yes Job Summary The HUB Associate will work under
minimal direction to plan, coordinate and administer HUB activities
and provide support to the HUB Manager or assigned departments or
categories for managing procurement activities related to HUB .
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (excel and power point),
PeopleSoft, other eProcurement software preferred. The UTA
Principles of Community will be followed throughout all work task
and responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submittal of required HUB reports
to Texas Procurement and Support Services ( TPASS )
- Analyzes HUB data required for submission of reports
- Assist HUB Manager in monitoring performance to Institutional
HUB goals monthly, coordinate HUB program development and
compliance and implement HUB communication strategy
- Participate in HUB information sessions for respondents on
offers of solicitation on program requirements, HUB Subcontracting
Plan Training
- Assist HUB Manager in review of HUB Subcontracting Plans and
Progress Assessment Reports:
- Assist HUB Manager in monitoring Prime Contractor/General
Contractor HUB Subcontracting Plans for compliance with 2nd, 3rd
tier reporting
- Coordinate Institutional participation in outreach events to
include trade shows and business development events, to include
virtual sessions
- Manage and update HUB website on a as needed basis
- Develop and Manage internal outreach schedule to promote HUB
companies to Institutional departments
- Assist the HUB Manager in developing and maintain HUB metrics
to support program. Performs other duties as assignedRequired
Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in
Accounting, supply chain management or related field. Three (3)
years relevant working experience in procurement/supplier diversity
is required. Experience in developing and implementing principles
and practices of world class supplier programs is preferred. May
consider additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Proficient in Microsoft office, Texas Government Code, Texas
administrative codes, managing multiple tasks.Preferred
Qualifications Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, PeopleSoft,
Procurement Enterprise Resource Planning & Service Now. Excellent
data entry, numeric, typing and computer navigational skills,
knowledge of customer service principals and practices,
interpersonal and communication skills.Working Conditions Remote
but required to support on campus meetings and outreach events as
