Description:--- Perform weld related duties as assigned by team leader / supervisor.--- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.--- Assume accountability for time management and job tracking.--- Maintain an open mind to learn new techniques and develop work processes.--- Build fixtures as required to maintain a high level of quality and maximize utilization and efficiency.https://www.ametals.com/capabilities/weldingRequirements:Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.--- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service--- Ability to work independently or as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.--- Must be proficient with both MIG and TIG welding processes. Proficiency with Laser welding a definite plus.--- Must be able to read drawings / blueprints and understand welding symbols.--- Computer familiarization / proficiency for time and quantity data entry.--- High school diploma or GED required.--- Trade school / Vocational training degree or certification required.Physical Requirements:--- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.--- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards--- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs--- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
