Overview:The Lead IT Banking Compliance Analyst is responsible for assuring the protection of our customers data by proactively and independently recognizing, assessing and addressing gaps. This team member is responsible for the effectiveness of controls by assessing the reliability of data, monitoring for compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. A Lead Analyst is someone who is detail-oriented with a banking background and experienced gaining insight into a firm's operations and control processes from the ground up with little supervision and guidance.Responsibilities:JOB DUTIES* Manage multiple initiatives to successful implementation* Execute technology risk assessments including creation of internal control documentation, narratives, process and data flows, and assessment of the current and future processes* Document and present flaw or weakness in system security procedures, design, implementation, or internal controls* Evaluate and analyze complex data to assess risk and formulate sound decisions and justifications* Partner to understand end-to-end processes, assess risks, identify design and operating effectiveness gaps, draft risk assessment reports, effectively communicate observations and recommendations, and assist with remediation activities* Participate in risk planning processes* Perform SSAE18 reviews* Exercise/perform right to audit over entities that provide services to the bank based on best practices (eg FFIEC IT handbooks etc)* Evaluate, improve, and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls, policies and IT Governance documentation* Conduct discovery, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document current and future-state processes, document risks and assumptions and oversee implementation* Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with IT, IT Audit, Security vendors and other stakeholders* Act as a liaison to internal and external audit personnel and the IT organization* Execute IT audit testing based on best practices (eg FFIEC IT handbooks etc)* Mapping controls across authoritative sources (eg FFIEC to COBIT)* Manage all internal and external audit and assessment activities for the organization while identifying necessary process improvements and driving remediation efforts* Develop, present, and communicate regular status updates for Senior Management and GM executives* Evaluate major organizational changes, implementation of new technologies and agreements with third-party service providers to ensure continual IT compliance to regulatory requirements* Perform other duties as assigned* Conform with all company policies and proceduresREPORTING RELATIONSHIPAVP - IT Compliance and Risk Management USQualifications:Knowledge* Advanced knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices* Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions* Working knowledge of the consumer loan business* Strong working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other applicable government regulations* Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, application development lifecycles, and organizational change management* Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations* Advanced working knowledge of information systems and operations systems and databases* Advanced knowledge of relevant technology standards, regulations and audit frameworks - ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST, Data Privacy, FFIEC IT handbooks etcSkills* Advanced in technology risk assessments and experience using frameworks such as NIST, PCI, COBIT, CCM, CIS, ISO, FFIEC or equivalent* Advanced understanding of current and emerging technology risks including IT General Controls, SDLC, Cloud, Cyber, Robotics Process Automation, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Data Governance, and Privacy* Significant experience in a large and complex business environment* Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software* Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives* Strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes* Ability to interact with staff at all levels* Excellent writing and speaking skills* Strong people skills* Advance experience with data visualization concepts and tools* Advanced computer skills and conversance in information technology issues* Ability to work directly with senior level managementEducation* High School Diploma required* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work or military experience required* Master's Degree in related field preferredExperience* 7-10 years of combined experience in Information Technology, Audit and Compliance disciplines required* 5 years in Banking industry requiredLicensesOne of the following required:* CISA* CPA* CISSP* CRISCWorking Conditions* Subject to stressful situations* Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends and holidays* Limited travel may be required to meet business needs#LI-EM#DICE
