Job Description:

Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery, has an immediate need for an experienced Field Service Technician, to join our winning team in Dallas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Travel to customer sites around the globe.
Provide install and system startup support of food processing equipment.
Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and testing.
Troubleshoot PLC based machinery operations.
Use industrial electrical prints.
Product testing and documentation.
Lead customer trials, PDI's and SAT's.
Installation and repair of industrial packaging machinery.
Travel 100% to job sites through North America, including weekends.





KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Two years mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in the Industrial food industry.
Interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints.
Understand RSLogix 500 and 5000.
AS degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Controls a plus.
Experience performing hands-on equipment maintenance.
Experience determining the causes of electronics failures, using such tools as digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships.
Using database and spreadsheets for written reports for management.
