Job Description Job Description Summary Bike Mart services and maintains all types and brands of bikes! The Service Writer role welcomes customers to the service departement, performs an inspection of the customers bikes, gathers other imprtant data about the rider and use of the bike and recommends service. Service Writers also perform simple while you wait repairs when needed. Duties Greet and engage customers Perform Bike Mart's Multi Point Inspection Gather date from the customer Enter customer data in the POS Schedule repairs Answer phone calls Perform basic repairs Requirements Service Writers should have the following- Working knowledge of bicycles Customer service skills Sales skills Ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment Excellent attention to detail Great communication skills Benefits A competitive benefits package including store discount and flexible scheduling is available to all associates.
