taxes is much more than filling in some forms. For most Americans,
their tax return is the biggest single financial event of the year,
and it can be quite an emotional experience. Thats where you come
in! We are here to ease their stress and provide expert customer
service and tax knowledge. What youll do here: The Sales and
Marketing Manager supports the company with a variety of duties to
include sales and marketing plans, research and development. Must
be comfortable marketing to local businesses and clients face to
face, zoom, email, text and phone, including cold calling if
applicable. The position coordinates with the management team and
must communicate effectively with area mangers of 5 states and 75
employees. Must feel comfortable creating and delivering a sales
presentation and coaching other employees. This position has access
to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, highly
confidential nature. This position promotes the Jackson Hewitt
brand through the delivery of superior customer service. Assist in
company wide marketing plan and budget Set and evaluate and promote
sales and revenue goals Train and coach regularly other employees
on sales and techniques, overcoming objections Meet set-up
deadlines to ensure office locations meet brand/marketing
appearance standards in time for office openings. Coordinate and
communicate effective with area managers and a team of up 75
employees in 5 states Assist in maintaining a clean and inviting
workplace, this may include removal of trash, vacuuming, bathrooms,
cleaning counters, etc. Assist leadership in personnel marketing
and recruitment efforts, as needed. Creates and tests new sales and
product opportunities in the accounting field Skills youll bring
for success: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability in working in a fast paced environment Must be
comfortable with computers and Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Sales
experience preferred Sales management preferred Reliable
transportation and a valid driver's license and insurance are
preferred. Be coachable and ability to take constructive feedback
Must be willing to travel 3-4 weeks per year Able to work in office
3-4 months a year (we have offices from Belen through all of
Albuquerque and up to Santa Fe and Las Cruces, NM, southern CO and
North Texas) and remotely from home at set times
