We are looking for a Sales Engineer! Must legally be authorized to work in the USA. Summary of the Role: The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the needs of our company Sales Team. The incumbent in this role will manage the technical aspects of the sales projects as well as relationships with customers, and bring critical customer requirements into the development, production, and marketing processes within our organization. Primary Responsibilities : Understand and communicate the value propositions regarding Managed Security Services (MSS), Professional Services (PS), and Advisory Services. In collaboration with the Sales Team members, meet with customers via telephone, email, or in person to assist in the technical aspects of business development; Manage, collect and interpret customer requirements; Conduct technical presentations demonstrating how client needs are met, and determining the solutioning of additional requirements; Support the Sales Team, providing technical expertise, input, and validation for sales proposals, statements of work, RFPs, and contracts; Provide delivery effort estimates for implementation of MSS, PS, and Advisory Services solutions; Maintain records of customer communication and sales activity via CRM and follow established internal communication processes; Engage subject matter experts in service areas when required to assist in the development of customer solutions; Attend and/or participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events; Maintain current knowledge of industry specific technical skills, competitors' services, and our company differentiators; Invest in knowledge of MSS, PS and Advisory Services through training programs, research, and hands-on experience; Deliver on other related projects as new business needs may be arising. Qualifications Required: Undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent; CISSP and/or other network or technical certifications; Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role or capacity; Strong IT Security knowledge base, technologies and practices; Proven experience with leading, and working in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of business and technical subject matter experts; Self-starter and capable of working in diverse environments with little direction; Demonstrate sound business analysis and problem solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Strong presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills; Ability to have his or her performance measured against the revenue attainment of the sales team the position supports; the pipeline velocity in terms of the time it takes for opportunities to progress through the sales cycle; the projects profitability and customer satisfaction metrics.
